I prefer to think of it as cheerful. And since this is our main mode of communication, I like that you're cheerfully being supportive. It makes up for the the fact that most of my calls go unanswered and unreturned, when you cheerfully IM me, than I understand that you're not dodging my calls because you don't like me. Because look how cheerful and supportive you are!
