For beginners you must watch the Johnny Depp movies Dead Man and Man of LaMancha. The first is a spaghetti western of sort and the second a wonderful shot into the world of Teri Gullium. So think Twelve Monkeys meets Don Quixote. Books, You should really read the Toa E Ching. Its a collection of poems with "the wise man does" types of themes. And if its any comfort I was living in Murfreesboro and moved back here a little over a year ago and I really like it alot more now than I did before I left.

Thank-you so much for your recommendations. I will definitely have to check into those and take you up on them.
But to be quite honest with you, in my opinion, almost anything Johnny Depp does is completely flawless. I simply adore the man, period.
As for Knoxville--I know it's not too bad, I lived there for four years, but I guess I've just been rather spoiled with living so close to Nashville, where so many things/events take place. And the shopping is top notch. :)
But then again, I'll be working a lot, and it's only 2 1/2 months or so.
Thanks for your advice!

Does this Johnny Depp collection include The Astronauts Wife? It's decent but questionable in terms of artistic dander.

Actually, I haven't seen that one yet.
Trust me, it'll be on the list.
