another bump in the road for Finland, but quickly cleared up!

Apparently the Stockholm airport I'm flying into is actually 56 miles OUTSIDE of Stockholm, making it impossible for me to get to the ferry via public transport (my only means) within the aloted 2 hours. So I'll be spending the night in Stockholm!

I may have some contacts is Stockholm. My friend Yvonne has many friends and associates there as her company is owned by Sweds. These folks are always sending over a college student to travel the US and are used to helping is such situations. I'll see what I can do.

well if you are taking a ferry from stockholm to Finland which one are you taking? Are you going to Turku or to Helsinki?

do you know if your stopping at the aland islands? because they are really nice and sort of pretty at least during july. not that in one hour you would be able to get off the boat and visit and get back on.

i'm not sure where we'd be stopping, but i'll right that now and at least look at the place from afar. its over night, but we leave port at 5pm so there'll be plenty of daylight.
