I play trumpet and piano, but I've always wanted to learn the cello.

Have you thought about taking lessons?

Yeah, but my parents aren't allowing me, because they say I suck at it just like in writing.

But I don't need their permission. I have saved up money, because I miss breakfast at school and save up 2$ a day. Which makes 100$ per month.

Well, if you don't take lessons, of course you won't be any good - that's what the lessons are for! Your parents' logic doesn't make any sense...

I always wanted to learn the piano, but I never took lessons. Keep bugging your parents if it's something you really want to do.

I know how to play piano already, and once upon a time took clarinet in school band. I would really like to learn guitar and violin though :)
