shall I buy sigur ros tickets on the black market, 4th row at $143? Is it worth it? I still have never seen them, and for some reason I'm thinking it might be.

Sigur Ros is one of the best live shows I've ever seen, and that's true every single time I've seen them. Which is, I think, three times now, and I'm seeing them a fourth next month. $143? It's up to you.

The Wrens are probably the other best live show I've seen.

Condo-buying is scary, no?

it makes me feel like an adult...but I think it's fun, not scary.

I told my buyer's agent (which was a great idea), "This is more fun than shopping for clothes!" I mean, you're walking into a place and seeing whether or not you can see yourself living there for years. The cool place about the one I might possibly be getting is that it would also make a fantastic rental property. :)

Oh, the looking part is totally fun! Signing the pieces of paper is the not fun part. It's a LOT of money.

Wow! Is the insane busyness / tourist crowd going to drive you insane / get old being there? It's a great area, but I think I would be shooting a bazooka into the crowd after a few months. :)

Good luck! If you love it, I hope you get it! :)

well, i live in old town now, and in the summer I seemed to be in that area alot (either shopping or drinking). Since the doorway is off the street, it doesn't seem so bad...it's where Grotto's is. It's better than near the Chicago stop, in my opinion....

It was between there and another apartment I liked at grand and wells...which was a cute area-but not enough action compared to where I live now. :)
