In light of my having swollen lymph nodes and pus covered tonsils and fever, I have begun to read The Plague, which is about people in a small French settlement in Algeria who die of a sickness characterized by swollen lymph nodes and fever. It's all working out rather well

I read that book last year at UMASS where I took Biology of Plagues and Illnesses, a class in which I learned fun facts like how people used to take plague infected corpses and launch them via catapult into other towns! I really really hope that what you have is not bird flu and that you come home safely and ready to consume the typical amount of Cherry Moosetracks.
