I love that Olivia is a hard liquor kind of woman. It definitely says a lot about her. Thanks so much for reading. I know Fringe is awesome enough to inspire more for me in the future. :)

I like to think that Olivia is rarely too far from her gun, like it has become an extention of herself. :)

And yeah, the absence of Rachel and Ella has been bugging me. The phone call with Ella was a nice reminder of their presence in Olivia's life. While I know that Olivia is not the type of person to ask for help when she needs it or the type of person to consciously let someone help her, I would like to think that if she were in contact with Rachel, and regardless of the extent of the details Olivia could give her about her situation, the relationship we've seen between them on screen would make me think that Rachel would know something was terribly wrong with Olivia and that she might need her help/presence. Maybe the actress isn't available, but a line here or there mentioning her or Ella would be great.
