WOW. What an incredible story! I love that it's a romance that really starts after the breakup of their first relationship.

I also love Mycroft sending Sherlock Moriarty's head. Sick, but perfect.

I'm glad you like it. Thanks! Yeah, somehow I also like writing that part ... I remember a fic in which Sherlock kept Moriarty's head in the fridge. Never could find that fic again though. And the sending of the head is also inspired by Percy Jackson ... for a very different reason.

Mycroft has to more-or-less give up touch to get trust from Lestrade, so the ending cuddle ends up being that much more poignant.

To tell you the truth, that was not the original ending. I've written several paragraphs from John's story through to the ending, then I erased everything and typed this instead. I'm glad you like it.

Wonderful ending!

I like John's and Sherlock's perspective on things but I especially love the last part.

Greg realised that for the past year, he had known more about Mycroft Holmes than he had when they were ... during that Time.

I found it perfect that Greg wasn't that forgiving and it took them a year and Moriarty for them to even begin to be together. I loved that Mycroft had to really work hard for Lestrade, he certainty deserved that.

Thanks for a great story and I hope to read more M/L fics from you soon :D
