LJ frustration

When I go to my friends' LJ blogs, and I click on "leave a comment" or equivalent, the comments entry page has the same look as their blog. When I do that on my blog, even when I'm signed out, I get this plain, white LJ interface that doesn't look like my blog at all. What's the dilly-o ( Read more... )

I think it's because you're still using a S1 style, which is the "old style engine" for LJ. They made a new one, S2, that's supposed to be easier to customize through their customization tool, yet powerful enough that if you like to edit code, you can.

Anyways, you might want to check out the S2 themes, especially Expressive, which is SO cute. Some of them are only for paid accounts, but you can switch to the ad-based LJ to have access to more of the Expressive themes (and switch out if you decide to go pay or stay as basic -- you're not locked into the ad-based LJ).

Oh, also, Brad changed journals and he's now using serpentgod. He added you when he switched journals. He doesn't post much, though. ^^;;;;
