Sigh.  This is the third time I've been upset about this problem.

I want to back up my old blog for sentimental reasons, but I don't understand MySQL or phpMyAdmin at ALL, and I don't understand how backing up a database will give me access to my blog once the website has been put down ('to sleep').   I've tried reading up on how to do it, but the

You could use a blog printing service, like this:
http://www.blogprinting.com/ or free service like this: http://www.ljbook.com/
I think there are a bunch of options actually.
