Getting it all out

Sat trying to revise anatomy but can’t because I’m crying too much, and it’s ridiculous that I let myself get to this point. I joke about having a really low guilt threshold, but I genuinely think it’s a problem. Mum expects me to learn to drive because of all the money we spent this summer, and get to know her boyfriend Craig.

Hi, you don't know me, and I don't know where you're up to with this. But it's VERY okay to cry. It's human. Cry as much as you want and need to. God knows I would have given up years ago if I hadn't been able to cry. I find it easier to cry in private, but healthier to cry with a friend. Even just on the phone. Your friends won't think you're blaming them. They're your friends. Take a lesson from Molly, eh? It's OK for people to see that you're sad. ;3

Thank you. Really, sincerely, thank you for taking the trouble to write to and comfort a complete stranger, it really means a lot. In case you want an update I am doing a lot better :) I passed my driving test, didn't do particularly well on my anatomy exam, but I think I passed (and if not, hey, that's what retakes are for!) and things have eased off for a bit, enough for me to catch my breath and get reorganised. Thanks for reminding me that its ok to let it out sometimes. Its easy to forget at the time that its normal and everyone does it, because you (or i at least) feel like the only one that can't cope. But I did feel a hundred times better even 4 hours after i had posted this, dried my tears and gone to bed. And as it turns out, a few of my friends had similar mini-breakdowns over Christmas! Its amazing how just feeling like someone else has gone through the same thing you have cheers you up to no end! And for that, once again, I thank you for reminding me :) I'm sorry to hear about your having to end your project, especially
