If you' re going to date somebody for a significant period of time, do not tell them you love them if you (along with your 'loving' parents and family) are going to beat them into the ground so that anytime life sends something that isn't perfect (pretty much every day of their lives) they aren't sitting and wishing they had a knife to drive into
