Firefly fangirl post
I've tried to do a cohesive entry about how much I want to press Firefly against a wall and snog it senseless, but I can't. So I'll post a shitload of Youtube videos and do the occasional capslock thing and you'll just have to trust me that I honest to God love it a lot. Okay? Okay.

Btw, this show had me shipping the weirdest couples. Like Wash/Zoe (sorry, none of the scenes I wanted to put in here are on youtube, so cheesy fanvids will have to do). They're already married! And happy! And he refers to her as wife and baby and sweetie all the fuckin time and I don't know why but it does things to me! I SHIP THEM SO HARD.
Shipping Simon/River seems considerably worse though, given they're brother and sister. There's a chemistry ok! I only hope that's not gonna happen for Kaylee's sake, but really. When I thought it couldn't possibly get worse, I watched the deleted scenes. And oh boy was I wrong.
Which reminds me: I was trying really hard not to fall for Summer Glau and while I was able to contain myself for the 5 minutes she's been on The Big Bang Theory and convinced myself it was her relationship with Topher on Dollhouse that made me like her (though that too was mostly denial), I couldn't resist her after all. "Some speculate that she was built in a laboratory - funded entirely by Joss Whedon - just so he would have the perfect person to portray Firefly's River Tam." - I totally see that! And ngh, she is such an adorable little thing.
She's also absolutely insane and I dig that:

Oh and Jayne. THE MAN THEY CALLED JAYNE!
Seriously, I've started calling Adam Baldwin Jayne instead of Casey. I think that says it all.
Also much loved: Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer Malcolm Reynolds.
I spent last night watching all his appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson cause eee, fandoms collide! <3
[2007] on being from Canada, his new movie, his family, his action figure and calling up fit actors.
[2008] on being from Canada, his new projects, his mother, (stoned) bears and sharks in the forest.
[2009] on being from Canada, being anti-snow, wearing a leather kilt and freaking kids out in his underwear.
Movies I need to watch: Waitress, Death at a Funeral, Knocked Up, Tucker & Dale vs Evil
Shows I need to watch: Castle, Buffy, Angel, Arrested Development
Shows I need to rewatch: Desperate Housewives (that one season Fillion played Katherine's hubby), Dollhouse (at least the Alpha episodes), Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, Dr. Horrible
