Oh, you have no idea how happy I am to hear you say that! I had you and Angie in my mind as I wrote this, actually. I don't really expect anyone else to read this but you two. <3 <3 <3 I'm so glad you liked my Sherlock! I was pleasantly surprised at how much FUN he was.

DEB. You have hit, right on the head, exactly why it's impossible for me to write Sherlock/John physicality. Because I'm so used to writing couples as being sweet or gentle or passionate with each other (I blame Doctor/Rose ENTIRELY), and I enjoy writing couple interactions like that and with this pairing -- YES, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. Because that would require making them both incredibly OOC, particularly Sherlock, and this is why all of my Sherlock/John fics end right before anything definite and physical happens. It's all just in John's headspace, and through dialogue, and well--

ENOUGH ABOUT MY WRITING, because these was incredibly well written and you've gotten into Sherlock's headspace in such an admirable and impressive way and I love how this is both meta AND totally true to the characters/canon and YES, I LOVE THIS.

I hope you write more Sherlock fic, because there is not enough of it in the world (that is not terribly OOC or just poorly written).

THANK YOU. XD Ohmygosh, I'm glad you liked it. Angie B, your fangirly-flail opinion means the world to me. Like I told Amy, I really wrote this for you two -- I don't really expect any others to read it. ^_^ And, WHAT, YOU WROTE SHERLOCK FIC WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN AND HOW DID I MISS IT!?!? (goes to read)

I think part of the reason why I find Sherlock's headspace so open to me is because Moffat's taken a very Aspergers-y approach to Sherlock (which I think is both interesting and accurate to the original material) and my brother has Asperger's. So, I'm used to understanding how my brother speaks and communicates, and that makes Sherlock really, really fun to write. He's got a fun head. ^_^ (and a pretty one, omg. BC ticks all of my physical attractiveness boxes, GUH)

We should set up a co-write via facebook with John and Sherlock texting each other. Could be fun. XD I have a more difficult time writing John, oddly enough.

I DID WRITE SHERLOCK FIC. I've written like FOUR of them (granted, one was a cracky Beauty and the Beast!AU one, but STILL). You should totes read them and give me feedback. :D

I've always viewed Sherlock as someone more alien than human -- he's always had that unapproachable, anti-social quality to him, and when Moffat and Gatiss wrote him as Aspergers-y I was all, YES, YES, THIS IS EXACTLY HOW HE SHOULD BE! I love RDJ's take on the character because he's so adorably ridiculous and misanthropic, but the Moff's take on him is much truer to the character over all, IMHO.

And I am ALL for doing a co-write project together, OMFG. AWESOMENESS, PARTY OF TWO. :D

Oh, this could be so much fun! I've always wanted to try a co-write before, but it's never gone down. At the very least, we'll have a good time even if we don't come up with anything post-able. XP What's the scenario? Since they're going via text or email, it would need to be something that necessitates them being apart for some amount of time.

I know this has been around for a while, but I was feeling too pouty about not having Alice fic updates that I could never bring myself to read it. As was said, you did a great job with characterizing Sherlock. It's especially difficult to write as someone who is smarter/more knowledgable than you.
Did the co-written Sherlock/Watson fic ever happen???
