Vanille was waiting anxiously outside her apartment building, watching the people pass by around her. She could see the hospital from where she was standing, and she pondered its imposing structure for a moment before shaking her head and turning away from it. Tonight was going to be a fun night, darn it, and that meant no worrying about suspicious doctors or getting back home or anything. Vanille and her new friend Eileen were going to have a proper night out, like she'd promised.
They'd agreed to meet outside before heading into town proper so they could iron out any details of their adventure for tonight. Unfortunately, Vanille had been a little too excited, it seemed, and had ended up at their meeting spot a little earlier than she should have. So now she was standing around awkwardly, fiddling with her communication device as she waited. Hopefully Eileen would show up soon; Vanille wasn't exactly the most patient of people.
