BREAKING OUT || open
Who: Anybody but especially anybody who is new and needs to get out of the hospital
What: New people breaking out of the hospital, fighting some monsters along the way, and possibly meeting some current inhabitants.
Where: The arrival hospital
When: During a period of darkness
Rating: PG-13 for violence, R maybe
Lelouch awoke in a dark room with a gasp. He sat up and looked around, noting immediately that he was no longer in Ashford Academy. He wracked his memory for something, anything, that would explain him being here. No, he hadn't started the assault on the Geass Order yet. That was scheduled for two days later; the false Ashford dorm mockup wasn't even ready yet.
It looked like a hospital room, but he hadn't been sick or injured. And...he was still wearing his old uniform, even in the bed. He still had his handgun tucked into his waistband at the small of his back. Even his contact was still in his eye, which was a bit irritated as contacts are not supposed to be slept in.
Lelouch got out of bed and decided to investigate the room more thoroughly. It wasn't necessarily a medical hospital, but it most likely was a hospital of some sort. Some kind of rest home? Asylum? Had he been discovered as Zero, drugged, and jailed? No, they would definitely not leave him with his weapon.
Regardless, something was definitely wrong. It was so empty and dark here. Looking again by his bed, he finally found the phone on the night stand. It turned on, at least, so he finally had a source of illumination. Checking to be sure, he noted that his own phone was gone. Since there was nobody around and he didn't seen any signs of ownership anywhere on the communication device he took it for himself.
He stood and turned towards the door. Nobody was around, so surely there would be no problem if he just left. The door opened easily, unlocked, and Lelouch strolled through. The hallway outside was completely dark too, and very creepy. Lelouch reached back and drew his gun with his right hand, and readied his left to pull out the contact to expose his geass.
A strange inhuman cry echoed through the halls, shaking Lelouch's confidence. What was that? Where was he?
He soon detected a horrible, somehow unnatural shambling motion from the shadows. He reached his free hand into his pocket for the communication device so he could shine some light on it...
And immediately wished he hadn't.
Lelouch screamed, fired a shot straight at it, then turned to run as fast as he could. He hoped the thing was dead, or at least wouldn't follow.
