Okay, so... anyone have any tips for killing the monsters quickly that they'd be willing to share?
[There's a startled cry, a repetitive wet thudding sort of sound, and then Dinah returns as if nothing has happened.]
Because I'm thinking there's got to be a more convenient way than 'hit it with a baseball bat until it stops moving.'

Have you tried setting them on fire?

[The sound abruptly fades again. Same wet smacking as before, followed a by a splash, a 'vwoooosh' sort of sound, and then the crackling of flames.]
Wow. That was actually a little anti-climactic.
Thanks for the tip, uh...?

Anti-climactic? ...Right. I'm Rin Okumura. You?

Mm-hm. I was expecting them to run away or at least try to defend themselves. It's kind of weird that they don't. [Not boasting or disappointed or anything - this is all just scientific observation to her.]
Dinah Wherever. Nice to meet you, Rin.

Oh that! [chuckling] Some of them put up a bigger fight than others but I think they don't want to fight. It's like they're waiting for something. [And that's much more frightening. He doesn't let the apprehension seep into his voice.]
Nice to meet you too, Dinah.

Waiting for something? I really don't like the sound of that...

Most demons I've know have either been under strict orders or they've been called in some way. ...Or they just go crazy. [He shrugs his shoulders -- oh, wait, she can't see him.]

Either way, though, they're usually aware of their surroundings enough to defend themselves, at the least, so...

But you know what's weirder? The demons - spirits, whichever - the smaller ones don't seem to know what's going on anymore than we do. It's the Nurses that know a little more but they won't say anything.

[A pause as she digests that last bit.]
Really? Huh. Not exactly surprising, I guess... still. ... Do the nurses even leave the hospital?

[He thinks back to the battles both within the hospital and outside of it.] I don't think so. I haven't seen one outside of it yet. And I really don't want to. [Them nurses be scary.]

Well that's a relief. I hear they're worse than any of the small fry outside.
