Demons? [She raises a dubious brow.] Seriously?
Back where I come from? We have different definitions for...demons, vampires. What do you mean, demons? [She was a hemophage, but the public new her kind as 'vampires'. She isn't a vampire in the strictest of terms-- she's sick. It's an incurable disease that causes vampire-like symptoms. But instead of drinking blood, they need constant transfusions. The public, of course, twisted everything, according to what the government said, and ergo-- monsters-- used to be just as human as the rest of them.]

Demons. Real demons. Where I'm from, demons are created by Satan. They're attracted to the negative energy and emotions in people. Most of them are monstrous but others ... others are a little more complex. Not all of them are senseless. Others are princes and kings. What do you mean "vampires"?
[He says this as nonchalantly as he could but he was as involved with the conversation. Rin counted as one of those "princes", a fact he constantly denied no matter how often it was shoved in his face.]
