[ For a master assassin he sure is making a lot of noise. The blanket covered lump on several floor pillows, partially surrounded by tools and hook blade parts, moves enough for a face to peek out. ]

Ezio? 's matter?

[Ezio squints in the dark blue surroundings, spotting the bright blue glow under the blanket.]

Kaylee? [He squeezes his eyes shut for a long moment then blinks slowly.] It's nothing. A headache.

[ She uncovers her head a bit more to squint at him. ] ... ya got a hangover sweetie? [ SINCE CLEARLY THAT WOULD BE A TOTALLY LEGIT REASON TO WAKE UP KNOCKING INTO EVERYTHING AND COMPLAINING ABOUT A HEADACHE. ]

[Ezio barely manages to keep himself from tripping over something, he's not sure what because it's too dark to see it, but a chair nearby is somewhat shimmering and he can at least get to that. He sits down heavily and finally looks to her again.]

If only. [He smiles lightly but rests his elbows on his knees, rubbing at his face with both hands.]

[ ... all right she's confused now as she fusses with the blanket a bit to stand and walk over bundled up in it. ] Think ya could eat some breakfast? [ She stops in front of him, bending to try and see his face. ]

[Ezio lifts his gaze just as she's bending to look at him, and laughs lightly, though it makes his head hurt more. At this distance, she'd see the golden glow even better.] Si, I suppose I could.

[ Oh it makes her so upset and worried and fussy to see him taken down like this. ] 's there anythin' ya think would stay in ya easier? I can do the basics. [ Wait ... what in the sphincter of hell ... the blanket only stays on her back because she's so bent over as she holds his face in her hands. She doesn't even notice she's squishing his cheeks a bit as she looks in his eyes, confusion in her own. ]

... 's goin' on?

Anything is fine, my stomach is not upset. It's just a headache. [He blinks slowly as she grips his face like that and finally manages to get his vision under control for a while, seeing her as he normally does, eyes their usual deep brown.]

Cosa? What's wrong?

Sometimes a real powerful headache can go ruinin' everythin' for ya ... [ Hmmmm. Her brow furrows just a bit more. ] I thought ... well your eyes looked kinda ... [ His face is a bit more smushed as she tilts his head slightly one direction then another. Well the lighting is bad and she did just wake up and all. ]

Just seein' things. I think.

[Ezio squints at her as she smushes his face more and sighs lightly. When he speaks, his voice is mumbly because of the way she's holding onto his face.] Cara mia, my face is not meant to do this.

[He reaches for her wrists and gently lowers her hands away.] My eyes are fine now. It's alright.

Wha- ... OH! Sorry 'bout that. [ She gives him a sheepish smile before giving him a quick little kiss on the forehead in apology. ]

You just wait here for a bit 'til I bring over some breakfast.

[Ezio smiles and doesn't much mind the kiss on his head, even if he feels a little bit more like an old man being cared for but he'll get used to it, he supposes. So, he simply sits and lets her get breakfast.]

[ She pads off, humming a bit as she digs around the kitchen to scrounge up some breakfast. For both of them now that her stomach's decided to say hello. Only a string of curses in Mandarin breaks up her humming as she made more clattering noise than she wanted. His head hurts and there she is banging things around. Oops. Eventually she makes her way back over with two plates. ]

[Ezio just settles in the chair while she goes to get breakfast. He practices with his Sense, turning it on and focusing on certain things then turning it off, repeating the action a few times and settling with his eyes closed until she comes back, giving her a light smile.]

Grazie mille, bella. [He takes the plate and sets about eating.]

You're welcome Ezio. [ At least she figures he said thanks. Slowly she's gotten more and more used to the Italian words. She watches him for a little bit to make sure everything's fine. He seems to be eating properly, no major signs of pain still so she plops herself down on a pillow by him to eat. ]
