All the planets of the 'Verse are basically divided up. From the center of the 'Verse on out. The Core planets are in the center. 's where the Alliance - the government - sits. An' all the real rich folks with all the latest tech. The further out ya get - the Rim, then the Outer Rim - the less the Alliance has got their hands on everythin'.

An' the less money an' new, workin' tech there is too.
