[Tony shows up a short time later in the armor, grinning, with his helmet tucked under an arm.]

Glad I didn't miss you. I was in the middle of upgrading JJ when you called.

I am glad too, Tony. Are you interested in exploring with us?

[ironfail]

Duh. [He gestures at the suit. What did Thor think he was wearing it for.] Anyone else coming?

[flipsalltables]

Steve should be. [He could be wearing it for fun! Thor would, if he had a strange robotic armour.]

[ironfail]

And where's old Stars and Stripes now? [...A very good point, Thor.]

He should be on his way soon. He and I... had tense words, but it should not be a problem. [He's sure he took Steve wrong on having to ask permission to bring Loki home, and he knows it's only fair to tell people when someone is moving in and out of the house, but it still irked him a bit. Not that he holds it against Steve, he knows his friend is only looking out for everyone's best interests.]

Oh no, don't tell me you got into a fight. I've been trying to be nice because of what you and Pepper said, come on! [This isn't fair, Thor's not allowed to argue with Steve if Tony's not allowed.]

No, a minor misunderstanding. It is settled now. [He waves it off, and gives him a grin.] Are you coming or not?

All right, if you say so. You want me to call him and tell him to hurry up? [He moves the helmet from under his arms to his hands.] Yeah, definitely.

[ They're not waiting much longer; Steve had to locate his uniform and shield, and maybe take a couple of breaths. Thor hadn't meant anything by it, and he knew that. This wasn't the time or place for arguing, anyway. ] Sorry I'm late, guys.

[Thor blinks up at Steve arriving, and gives him a smile.] It is fine. [He tosses Mjolnir up and catches it then turns for the teleporter.] Let's move.

Hey. [He nods at Steve in greeting, still somewhat unsure where they stand now. One civil conversation does not a friendship make. So he's just going to awkwardly trail after Thor now.]

[ Steve nods at them both, readjusting his grip on his shield and follows Thor to the teleporter. ] Any idea what we'll find in there?

Mutated monsters and poisonous air. Likely a lot of dead and decaying mortal bodies, too. [He looks over his shoulder to them with a little smirk.]

Sounds fun. [Tony's putting on the helmet, checking all his systems while they head to the teleporter. Most of the damage from the Loki fiasco had been repaired, but he didn't want to risk any problems in case of an emergency.] Though I'm hoping to find something a little more useful.

[ He's got his own helmet on already, and he pauses at the teleporter, eyeing it. ] Is that thing safe?
