He'd felt this building for a long time now and it was finally happening, and although the hammer causing a storm wasn't something foreign to him, it still surprised him. The rain had started yesterday evening, and it had built and built. He knew it'

[Tony really, really doesn't like the rain. Especially rain like this, nonstop and pouring down like a freaking waterfall. He'd been trying to work on upgrades to the video game console, but he keeps getting distracted by random booms of thunder and the sound of rain on the roof. Not even the sweet sounds of extremely loud classic rock guitar riffs can cover it up, and finally he gets out his phone and calls Thor.] Heyyyy, buddy. What's up?

[Thor picks up with a hand shielding the top of the phone, though he's soaked through and seems entirely fine with it.] What's... up? [Yes, he looks up. Then he looks back at Tony.] A thunderstorm, my friend.

[ironfail]

Yeaaah, about that. Can you do anything about it? [Because it's starting to piss Tony off.]

[flipsalltables]

No, it has to run it's course. [He could try, but that would lead to one very angry and unhappy thunderer in the house.]

[Tony sighs. And he'd had such high hopes.] Worst god of thunder ever.

[flipsalltables]

[Oh, that earns Tony a furious scowl, and Thor tightens his jaw. He takes these things literally!] I could stop it, against my own comfort, now I will not.

[Oh yeah now Tony sees a possible reason for why it's raining so hard.] Dude, it's okay, it's just a little rain, I can...handle it.

[flipsalltables]

[Thor sighs, glancing away.] My apologies if it is inconvenient for you.

[ironfail]

I've been staying inside, it's fine. Are you outside? [Get back inside the house right now, young man, you're going to catch pneumonia and die.]

[flipsalltables]

That is perhaps best. You could get ill, if you stayed out too long. I am outside, yes. [But moooom, I want to play in the rain with my hammer some more!]

[ironfail]

I think getting sick would be the least of my worries. [He snorts.] I guess you don't have to worry about that, huh. [No buts! And don't go tracking mud inside the house again!]

[flipsalltables]

Would it? [He shakes his head faintly.] I cannot get sick from the rain, at least. Midgardian illnesses do not affect me. [And then Thor and Steve tracked mud into the house after their mud wrestling match.]

Thunderstorms and I don't play well together. [Shrugging.] Lucky duck. [Aaargh, you two, Pepper is gonna kill you!]

Would your... device be harmed by it? [He squints a little bit at him.] Lucky duck?

Naw, it's pretty securely waterproofed. [Tony's just...been having nightmares lately, no big deal. Moving on!] That you can't get sick from puny mortal diseases.

Then what is it that makes thunderstorms a problem? [Nope, not dropping it.] ...I do not understand, why does that make me a water fowl? [WHY AM I A DUCK, TONY?]
