[ With the storm in full swing, Charles has suspended the school until it's actually safe to go outside. As such he settles into the sitting room next to his bedroom. With the Brandy from Pepper, he originally sits down to work on study plans and the such. Especially since he has the idea of getting Teddy and Yu to take classes together. That idea eventually doesn't pan out, and he moves to toying with chess. However, that leaves him sour as it always does these days and he tips the White King over before moving to stand next to the window, glass in his hand. He's shut the doors to the study, but that doesn't ever stop people from coming in and talking to him. Thankfully, with his telepathy, he can always hear them before they actually enter.
Charles moves away from the window and makes his way around the study, using the chairs to help him stand, stretching out his stiff legs. He's come to the conclusion - even without a professional medical opinion - that they won't ever quite be at full use anymore. He'll be slightly impaired with walking, but it's better than not being able to walk at all. He picks up his glass and sighs, looking back out the window. His mind drifts from each person in the house, one by one, tapping the side of his glass. ]
