[ Her device shuts off, and she rushes to the place.

[Greed has his new communicator in one hand while the other idly sits in the back pocket of his pants. He's got a grin that could kill and considering the circumstances, he's high as a proverbial kite. First day back and he doesn't need to question it - he's got a new step in his shoes!]

[And with a pretty little lady meeting and greeting him? Why, he couldn't have asked for more! Perhaps he should self-sacrifice more often .. ]

[He teeters down the steps, boot heels a-clackin'. When he spots Rikku, he whistles and gently flips the phone shut.]

Rikku, yeah? [The phone disappears into the inside pocket of his vest as he shoves the now-free hand next to the other in the back pocket of his slacks.] Nice of you to come out and greet the newcomer like this. You do this for everyone?

[ She waves in welcome, her step quickening a little until she's close enough to speak. ]

Well, most newbies don't enjoy my... excitable attitude I have about the city! And some call me a liar. [ She pouts, but it disappears quickly and is replaced by a cute little grin.

He had to be the happiest newbie she's welcomed in a long time! ]
