[Pepper had sent out a mass text on the 28th with more details about the birthday party for Tony. The text included directions, just in case anyone who wanted to attend didn't know how to get to the Avengers mansion.
When everyone arrives they'll find signs directing them to the back patio where the party is set up. Pepper's set out lots of snacks (cupcakes, chips, pretzels, sandwiches, and an actual birthday cake) and plenty of cool drinks (soft and alcoholic because it is a party for Tony, after all). With JJ's help there is music going in the background. It's as close to a typical Stark party as Pepper can manage in Aliunde.
