Rating: PG-13 for possible language. These two always find ways to argue when they're out adventuring together.
The days following their accidental broadcast had been rough, to say the least. Helen tried to make up for the fight in her own small ways to Will. She wouldn't apologize, as she wasn't sorry for the things that lead up to the fight. The way it was handled and what was said? Most certainly. Especially with how many had seemingly ganged up on him. They were unaware of how she and Will operated. How they would ram their heads together and fight for dominance in a situation. Helen had wanted someone like her to take over the Old City Sanctuary, and she had certainly found him. With that, of course, came the risks of egos. And they both had them.
Helen looked around her. She stood at the teleporter that would take them to the city. She had left Will a message on his own device, telling him to meet her at the time and place. Kate and Magnus had received instructions as well: they were to only explore the city, for the Sanctuary's purposes, if she ordered it. There was a feeling she had that Kate would go regardless of her own orders, as she was part of the Assassin Brotherhood. Magnus, however, she assumed would want to stay safe. That was why the task of making sure the Sanctuary was secure, stocked, and that the residents were taken care of while she was gone. Anything that needed to be handled by her in person was to be left on her desk until she returned. Helen was more than confidant that Magnus could do it.
She exhaled softly and pulled her brunette hair back into a ponytail. Armed with a tranquilizer, a gun with live rounds, a medical kit and food? She figured she and Will would be fine.
