I honestly joined this game because I loved the idea of it so if it's just going to get better then I want to go with it. I have no issues about being on dreamwidth, two out of three of my games are already there so I'm used to it and I made journals for my two characters I have in game. You already said that there would be an IC explanation for why they're suddenly missing several months and that was my biggest concern. While I did join it because it was small and a slow-paced game, I'd be thrilled to see it grow larger and faster on DW.

My only suggestion is...if we do move to DW can we have the meme comm open so we can all still tag with each other on silly things and talk. It might help keeping people together while we wait for Aliunde to come back.

Also, if you guys need any help with anything, I'm always willing to give my input.

I actually really like the idea of keeping a small comm open just for memes and discussions going on DW while we are on hiatus!

It would help us keep our characters nice and sturdy in the wait time, plus you could use it to inform us of what's going on.

Gotta agree with the above. Lot of good folks here, some serious talent, etc. As long as things are fleshed out on the ol'DW (which hey, I'm getting used to since this wasn't really kickin' hot when I was still in the LJ-RP scene) I think I'd definitely be in. I know things are a little rocky right now, but there really is a great cast of folks here. I think a little reset would do everything well.

Here's my problem: it's not that Aliunde is on LJ that's hampering the game. hewaitsdreaming is at 30+ members and is constantly getting new members without any advertisement (on ATP or otherwise) at all. It has a much tougher AC and a more difficult application on top of the word of mouth recruitment style, too. The problem I think we're running into is that we are a jamjar game with no special gimmick to bring everyone. The main draw we have at this point is that we're the only established jamjar of decent size left on LJ, which means advertising on DW is ineffective...and the LJ-exclusive crowd is hard to advertise to, because they're not really organized anymore ( ... )

But in all seriousness, I'm really only on LJ for Aliunde and to follow a couple comms - so if the game moves, I'm totally okay with moving too.

And I'm gonna also second (or would that be fourth or fifth, by now?) the idea of having a meme/discussion comm stay open while the main game is down.
