I had noticed during development that I wasn't able to edit prior entries that were marked as private with AliveJournal. But fixing that ResponseBlockManager bug seems to have had yet another positive side-effect! :)

Dim the user/pw fields after the login button is pressed once. I kept trying to click the button accidentally when the login was just taking longer than I'm used to.
Otherwise, nice work, it's about time the Be LJ client worked ;)
That's now I first found the journal...one day on BeBits around a year ago I was "LiveJournal 1.0" as a new piece of software. I downloaded it and played with it a bit, but then got truly hooked at the beginning of my fall semester. Now I have around 5 other friends into it too...
Which (not really) brings me to a point - if you want any help with the client I'd love to do things. I have no knowledge of C/C++ but it would be something to learn and I've been wanting to program some Be apps ;)

Damn fine idea! I will incorporate that into the next version for-sure...
I need to run, so I can't address your entire message, but if you want to help on the development, I suggest simply grabbing the source archive and poking around with it. Start playing around with the source and seeing what changes affect the program in what way.... It isn't the best way to learn how to program, but it's a start. :P

Anyway, Yeah, I've considered getting the source and looking at it and poking around. While I'm well aware of the fact that's not the best way to learn how to program, I've also got my classes at school to back me up. I could also get my roommate interested I think. We're both CS geeks with interestes in LJ and BeOS :P
