there was this one thing where someone posted a secret but it got deleted. and then so the user decided to seek vengeance and randomly delete other posts. so then people said "Two wrongs don't make a right" etc. etc.

After that the mod said something about "you know, how about I delete this entire community" and somebody said "you wouldn't." and well, I'm not sure what happened after that. But that's as much as I know.

Some troll must have changed the password for thepassword, then deleted livesecret and thepassword.

Has anyone e-mailed LJ about it, or put in a support request?

No, we actually discussed deleting it and then ashley did sometime after that.

i also want to thank you and your girl for making this. i don't know what I would do without it.

livesecret honestly helped me so much with my life, and i love being there for other people.

Well on Wednesday my friend messaged the creator of livesecret and asked what'd happened, she said she decided she just didn't want it to exist any more and deleted it. My friend then asked if she would give over the account to us and we could run it in future, but she refused altogether. She also refused to give us the code for the layout or do anything towards actually informing members of the livesecret community we wanted to make a new one. I'm fairly annoyed.

Looks like a lot of people made it over here at least, which makes me feel better, but there's bound to have been losses somewhere along the way. :(
