When I was little, when I'd trip or otherwise exhibit normal klutziness, my sister would chime in with a "way to go, Grace." Like clockwork.  After what I did yesterday, there' s a good chance my sister is going to fly across the country and write the sentiment across my forehead, in Sharpie.

I totally also sing the "sont conjuge/avec être au passé composé, hey!" part in my head too. For some reason, it calms me. Go figure!

Well, I hope that you're feeling ok now. I'm trying to figure out the physics behind this fall - it could be because I'm closer to the ground, but I don't think that I could fall that spectacularly if I tried.

The best I can figure, it must have gone something like this:

It was, indeed, double flawless.

My biggest problem is that now I'm all worried about tripping again, but it's kind of hard to avoid putting myself in the same circumstances. After the bike thing, I'm a lot more cautious on bicycles, no sharp corners, avoid traffic, etc. But "don't fall over" was already a priority while I was walking, so I'm not sure how to do it ... better.
