Is The Other Vanessa Williams the chick who was on the first season of Melrose Place? I remember being peeved back in the day, when I tuned into the MP pilot expecting to see the de-throned Miss America.

Maybe? It's weird, the famouser VW did the movie Soul Food, and then the less-famous one did the TV version. That couldn't have helped things.

I think watching all of Sports Night is a perfectly acceptable activity for a weekend, I have to say.

It so, so wouldn't be the first time I'd watched the whole thing over a weekend, Ntozake Nelson-to-Calvin Trager in one interrupted marathon. But just ended up watching the commentaries and gag reels this time.
