My hair stylist has stopped working on weekends. She's awesome-free bang trims, swanky salon-but really expensive. And I can't really justify missing work for a haircut.

So, recommendations? Please?

I have Chandra and Maggie's mixes today and both, so far, are excellent.

You originally recommended Parlor to me, on the basis of someone's recommendation to you (I think), so now I'm recommending back to you... Betina at Parlor. She gave me two good cuts so far, for, I think, 75. They do push the Aveda though.

I have 10% off your first cut cards for her, if you want one.

Haven't been in for a bang trim yet, but she implied they were free.

I get my hair cut at Jun Hair Salon on Mott St. in Chinatown for $22. Jun generally cuts all six chairs herself, so if you have a Saturday appointment prepare for a long wait. She doesn't work Tuesdays.

Also, just so you know, she has regular white clients so you know she's legit!
