Philosophy and Beliefs: Taoism

Although I say I believe in Taoist principles, I can't honestly say I'm Taoist because I don't know what Taoism really is. As involved in other processes of understanding, achieving, and learning, becoming a Taoist is infinitely more accessible with the guidance of a teacher. So I've done a little research. Your post is fascinating, but I think that seeing yourself you don't see yourself as everyone else does...or at least as I do. (Well, no one sees themself as others do, I guess.) With that in mind, I did some research on Taoism. You already know you get total detatchemnt if you succeed, so why bother? Isn't just being a character on the show, konwing you're in a show, but not knowing what it looks like from the outside, good enough?
