I arrived safely. My suitcase did not. It is missing. They thought it was still in LA, now they just don't know. It is supremely annoying to not receive your bag. If it doesn't show up, my travel insurance will cover it, but I don't want  new stuff. I want my stuff. Stupid LAX baggage handlers. Someone tell me a positive story about losing bags and

Good luck with the bag! Sometimes Robert gets his lost because he travels so much and they bring it any time of day they find it, even like 5AM. At least they're dedicated to returning it!

So this one time my family and I went to Wales and we had to stop in Amsterdam. We got off and got on the plane to Cardiff, but apparently our bags decided they liked Holland better and wanted to stay there. Well KLM finally wrangled them and got them on a plane to Cardiff. The only problem was we were about 2 hours outside Cardiff in a small coastal village with about 40 people and 80 sheep[this is where they drove!]. So KLM had someone drive with our bags to our village to drop them off. And we got our bags bag. The end.

My bag got lost on the way to florida one time, and the real problem was i was getting on a cruise the next day. Well...i was really worried and i had told the people at the airport about the cruise and if they didn't get it to me i wouldn't have it for the whole thing. Anyway about three in the morning the front desk calls and the airport people brought it by and i got it before the cruise. There ya go, a positive story!

I have two positive stories!

Swiss Air lost Rob's snowboard and kit when we went for a holiday, they drove 3 hours to a random village and found us in the pub to deliver it.

BA lost my bag when I went to Dubai last time. I spent 116pounds on "essentials", they eventually found it, brought it to me, and refunded the money! So I got new stuff and my old stuff. Great. Go shopping!

You are more than likely to get it back eventually, in the meantime, do a bit of shopping. Dunno about your policy, but mine also pays 50pounds per 24 hours baggage is delayed, on top of the claim if it is eventually deemed lost. Might be worth having a look...
