I once visited the art school of Lausanne, and there were plenty of cuties modelling with maya overthere. Don't forget your hunter outfit this summer :)
My little finger told me few days ago that I should start designing stuff soonish, again. So, this summer, let the booze and the lake of the land of forever blue set us into trance and describe the most amazing ideas of the world that we'll forget the next morning... :)
I don't find it bad from the modeling point of view, it's somehow minimalistic and the HDR brings another dimension. Fits well but I don't know how a Cube demo would be perceived :) I would make a screensaver out of this.
btw. will this work on my crap FX5200 with some tweaks ?
I think the model in itself = 3000 tris... hehehe, but huh, didnt knew what else to add;)
has FX5200 floating point surfaces and vs/ps2.0 ?
For the moment, the engine comes with absolutely NO fallback for unsupported hardware. I feel like i'm slowly moving to a more "semi realtime" approach, or at least "it works at home but i dont care to know if it does on poorer hardware". Feel like I do what i want to do, how i want to do it, not wanting to spend time making it work for HW that i dont own;)
anyway, when i'll have a more polished version of the engine, lets test it on your card!

that movie actually had some parts which could make pretty nice stuff for a demo..
