EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm so excited to see an update, and I'm loving it already!!! I always was...not disappointed with canon, since it exceeded my extremely low expectations, so I guess...unfulfilled with how canon handled the Purgatory thing, especially Sam just running off to his attempt at an apple pie life (I know he must have spent a long time looking for answers beforehand, but they never really SAID that), and so I love stories that explore both that and more specifically Dean and Castiel in Purgatory. Especially I fear what Castiel's going to deal with going through that swamp filled with guilt (and withdrawal...), so I'm very much looking forward to more!

(P.S. Rehab-skinwalker? Sounds legit. Or maybe the upcoming creature is a Rehab-Pony. IT'S NAME COULD TOTALLY ACTUALLY BE REHAB-PONY, TOO. Or maybe the swamp is shaped like a pony and will love Castiel so much that it actually relieves Castiel of his guilt instead of killing him for it? REHAB SWAMP. Totally legit, too.

Thank you! So glad you like it :D Colour me unfulfilled with canon too, there was so much potential with purgatory, gah... and the whole thing with Sam just seemed strange. I made sure to be all "no Sam, no apple pie life for you" XD

The swamp bit was one of my favourite parts to write, can't wait for you to read it :) I wonder if anyone will pick up on what influenced me... the swamp isn't pony shaped, but the thing I took inspiration from involved a pony, sort of *g* (ALL of the ponies! *meme face*). Falco will appear in the next part to this verse, I promise you that! I've got this brilliant scene planned out for him and I want to tell you all about it, but I can't cuz it will spoil everything, bah! XD

WOW. So I have read the whole series, stayed up alll night, this story is astounding! I cannot stress enough how much I love it, and your writing, your descriptions so are so vivid. Your reflective insights on each character...you are amazing! THANK you for the gift of this fic, and I can't wait to see the next chapter. Also, this line:
The world was not strong enough to keep the Winchesters apart.
I love that so fiercely. That is our boysl And THIS is how Sam would have behaved...whoever came up with the whole Sam doesn't look for Dean clearly has not even WATCHED this show, and does not know the whole fundamental principal is these brothers!

I hope you managed to get some sleep, and thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! I hardly know what to say, just... let me hug you! XD After all the self doubt, all the worrying about things not working (I am my own worst critic *g*) a comment like that is like being showered with rainbows and puppies! :D

I realised I wasn't alone in doing a O_o when Sam didn't look for Dean, so I took the chance to "put that right". For me it was a key thread running through Sam's story, pushing him to where he ends up... you'll see ;)

OH I am so glad to make you feel good. We are all our own worst critics, aren't we?
I believe firmly in commenting when something moves me so much. It can be easy to be a lurker, be lazy, read but not ever tell an author what speaks to us. These boys, this show, the actor's themselves, they mean the world to me. Supernatural is home to me, it's gotten me thru many hard times. they are my family *cause family don't end in blood* So again, kudos to you, can't wait for what comes next.
