[ow, ow. high magic really helps though and so does the healing spell. and going to cast Grydyne again, but this time aiming the expanding sphere so that the edges of the spell hit him...and so that the gravity magic pulls down a nearby, heavy building decoration thing to fall on him.]

...This changes nothing.

[Picking up into the air at this point, not just hovering but actually launching himself skyward, raising one hand as he seems to be literally pulling the darkness out of the air, and heaving down a Judgment of Darkness in the form of a giant orb.]

There we go. Oh dear. I realize this is not precisely the best time to be telling you this but I can only seem to get through when he's busy. Despite his power, he's rather inexperienced. You had the right idea before; but it seems he becomes temporarily immune to whatever element hurt him worst previously. Attack him in ways he has no idea how to counter, and you can win this.
