I was talking to one of my friends today during dinner. She had just finished reading Earagon because she had seen him at Comic Con and he talked about his experiences as an author. he stated that if you wanted to be an author, you shouldn't mull over it - just do it. It does not all have to be done at once, and being an author does not have to mean writing something to be enjoyed by the masses. It can be something that you can write for you and your family to enjoy. So maybe you can still be an author/writer. It may not happen all at once, and it may happen one sentence at a time, but you can come out with a beautiful and thoghtful piece of writing to share wit your daughter and wife. :)

echo jina1128 There's never pressure to keep up a blog (perhaps internally) but readers can't demand you to write when you don't have time.

maybe.

i think you'd like the comfort of knowing that i was well trained; never mind the sleep. that's what you want. you want a great surgeon. you don't want someone nice, or good looking, or sweet-talking. or even well-rested. you want the best surgeon. heh.

here's to hoping you never need surgery, though.

and thanks - i miss writing entries!
