Speke Hall (Liverpool, England)

Ok, this is not exactly a castle, but this large Tudor manor house seems to have its place in this this community. I hope you'll like it !

The place was built between 1530 and 1598 by a catholic family, the Norris. Due to the religious troubles of the time, it features a priest hole and an eavesdrop, a little hole opened in the frame of the house ( Read more... )

Oh, these are really lovely, thanks! I've seen pictures of the outside before but never of the inside and it looks fabulous. The cradle is beautiful.
