I was planning on drinking a couple of beers, burping once or twice, and then setting something with a large plus sign on the top of the roof on fire.

Okay, seriously, I don't have any plans. The rest of my kindred will be either out of state or out of country. I'm using what little vacation time I have next month to visit my betrothed at school, so I can't even take the day off and celebrate. If I get lucky, I will find a square decorator table somewhere and be able to set up a new hörgr. After that, it's anyone's guess as to whether or not I get to do much of anything.

The usual, a big fire, a blot to the gods and a wishing of Sunna all the best on her journey; followed by heaving on said blaze some bundles of herbs that makes for a reeking might. I shall then stand in the fragrant smoke to rid me of ill-luck. If I feel nimble enough after the booze I will do some fire jumping. . .unless some púca trips me up then I shall be forced to quickly remember the galdor for quelling those burning tongues . "Get ye now gone, ye flames!..." :-))

It'll be Winter Solstice down here. I'm just planning on some quality time with a hot horn of hot chocolate and marshmallows. Probably some cleansing, warding/protection and blessing of my new room which I finally got back from the evil boarder who stole it while I was away from home.

A fire would be awesome, but I'd need to get a license and the council's approval first.
