I watched it too with the same feelings you did! I wanted more of the older characters (I know they were trying to introduce the new characters to us or the aged characters) and I wanted explanations too! I wonder who is in the bed in the hospital? My theory: David went down for the fall of whoever was "killed" but the person thought dead is in the bed. I wonder/hope it's Erica in the bed.

Unfortunately, if we get Erica back, it won't be for awhile. She told the View she unfortunately has another project right now.

Plus, Cara said whoever they saved would make David mad. That means it is Tad or JR. David liked Erica. I'm voting for JR simply because I haven't seen any promos with Tad in them.

My guess is that JR is in the bed, because I know MEK has other work right now and has said Tad won't hit the canvas until later on. So he's probably offscreen with Kathy/Kate, since we didn't see her as a teenager anywhere.

Someone else was hit when the gun went off, and that's why David is in trouble. I'm terrified it's Stuart. They *just* brought him back, but he is one of the few characters everyone loved. Could pretty much be anyone they have to explain away... maybe Amanda? That would certainly make everyone sad.

I think It's JR in the bed. He's in the intro, but we haven't seen him yet.

I was happy it was back. I didn't like the cussing and the overt raciness. But I suppose I'm a prude.

I'm just worried there won't be enough of the "Oldies" for me to be Interested. I already don't care about the youngsters. I hope the writers remember that the only reason they are getting this opportunity is because the old folks like us loved the show. I understand they also need to get new blood interested, but it will be us, the original viewers that make this successful.

I'm with you on the youngin's. I didn't care about them before, and I don't much now. I think the last time they brought in a batch of teens I actually cared about at all, Amanda Seyfried was one of them. That's a looooong time ago.

And while I didn't really care about the language or anything personally, I did worry about what my mom will think. This show was hers longer than it was mine, and she is *so* excited to have it back. I hope they don't ruin it for her while they're busy trying to get a new audience.
