So, hypothetically. Suppose someone kind of wants to ask someone else to prom, but they don't know if that someone else is even really interested in them or not. What would be the best course of action in a situation like that?

Being confident is certainly a good thing, but I don't think I'd be able to get away with being that bold.

It is just my opinion, but I suspect that you should try taking the chance. You never know where it will get you.
