While Krauser had been bold, he had also done damage to himself - he should have just killed Rebecca when he had the chance. Ah, well. It gave Wesker a little more wiggle room, anyhow.

He could have done more for his eye, actually. . . but he had acid damage to his knife's blade to worry about reducing. He knows how well he can heal. Some things just come first.
