and i want solar panals real bad
so that my electricity meter can turn backwards like his

according to my friend who knows everything, solar panels are really inefficiant and you'd need a million huge solar panels just to power something small.

People usually cover their roof with solar panels.

In high school we made a solar boat and it only needed two panels.

It doesn't take nearly as much as you might thing. <3

Actually, for one person's energy needs you only need about 4 big panels. (I know this because I had a professor who uses them on his home.) For a family of four, you do have to cover the south-facing side of your roof, but the price to do that is in the tens of thousands and falling.
