If you are going to go the new computer route, wait about a month. Next month is apple's big convention thingy and they always reveal the new line of stuff. So you can either get the brand spanking new stuff next month, or you can get last years model a bit cheaper than you could right now. just my $.02

Yeah... I know Apple makes their big announces in Jan... I would definitely consider waiting a few weeks...

But I think I'm going to try to rebuild my old mac... at least for now...
