I have a different health care organization here in Minnesota - Health Partners; but, your advice and suggestions are so very welcomed. I am ashamed to admit I don't use any of the online options. I'm stuck in the I want to speak on the phone method of dealing. However, this post inspires me to "get with the program" and get over my reluctance to use online service options. Thanks, Allan!

On my birthday Thursday, I have an appointment set with a nurse to get the shingles shot!

There is very little that KP does that other large health systems don't emulate. KP was the first major health system to implement EPIC medical records management systemwide...and all of the other health systems laughed at them for "wasting" so much money, until KP demonstrated a HUGE cost savings in the first few years paired with an equally huge increase in patient satisfaction and continuity of patient care. Now everybody's going onto EPIC.

The same holds true for websites and mobile apps. There is SO MUCH you can do via the web or on an app to make managing your medical life easier.
