So happy you're finally getting some answers! :) Now where is this doctor at because I'm convinced there's something else wrong with me aside from the PCOS.. it doesn't even seem like the metformin is working anymore :/
He is at the hospital I work at (Health central) In Ocoee, probably about 20 minutes away from you. (I think)
Yeah The metformin wasn't doing a damn thing for me, but I was only taking 500 mg once a day, now he has me taking 2000 a day, add on this cancer med and spiralactone, which ive been one once before but didn't work either but i was on 50 mg, now im going to be on 100 mg.
His name is Victor Matthews.
Let me know if you want to see him. He is just now building up clients so he has time to actually sit down and talk you through everything.
Honestly I would love to, but I know there's no way my mom would let me if our insurance didn't cover it. Is there any way you could check for me? :) We have Anthem Blue Preferred Primary.
Ill try to look into it. I'm working night shift the next three nights so I won't be awake during business hours.
Im going to look online. If not Ill try to call them friday or here is the number 407 764 5000, but i think thats the old office number, cause all the hospital numbers stat with 296. But if you call that number it might transfer you.
Ill let you know if i find anything out, let me know if you do too.
well now im freaking out about the whole thing. At first i was so happy that someone has finally figured out my problems.
But the more im looking up the drugs and treatment im freaking out. Last time I was on metforim I lost so much weight just because i was throwing up every hour.
FINALLY some progress

It's about time you got some real answers. It's a lot of meds but if it helps then it's worth it. What cancer med are you taking? How soon until to you start to feel better or notice any positive changes? IK lots of questions. I'm just so glad you've finally gotten a constructive diagnosis. ttys, Elizabeth
Well to started I stopped getting my period when I was about 17, I wasn't sexually active so I knew I wasn't pregnant. Every month I would go to the doctors and they say oh its normal for girls to not be regular when I had been ever since I started my period
