the way they got together is so simple and yet... lifechanging at the same time
and then jongin gets punched (he deserves it really)
but i love how... idk mysteriously awesome kyungsoo is. Like he's fazed by nothing. I really do like that characterization
this part was so amusing:
For a bunch of overgrown kids with ‘singer’ as their occupation, they somehow manage to butcher such a simple song.

i'm a fan of simple scenes that's not too dramatic~ characterizations are usually the hardest to plot out especially since everyone has their own headcanons of the members so thank you for liking kyungsoo's characterization in this story! :') and thank you for reading & commenting!

You know what's interesting is that you wrote about Christmas in the fic and I realized that's what this fic reminds me of... the holiday season, or like, my idealized version of the holiday season, where it's cold outside but you're warm and toasty indoors with the people you love. I think I've said this before but there's something very comfortable about this story - maybe it's how comfortable kaisoo are with each other?

I love how open and frank Jongin is with his feelings (omg the my special snowflake line T__T) and how Kyungsoo's harder to read even though we know he cares too. “I just didn’t want to be left out of your life.” was so poignant b/c it kinda feels like Kyungsoo is the one who should feel left out due to the turn of events but the truth is no amount of wishing can make Jongin feel any way other than how he does? He's always going to be stuck on Kyungsoo ;;

(Sehun and Tao are jailed to the living room and given a console to play with before they cause more trouble if they offer their help.) i c u taohun

i think kaisoo irl are really comfortable with each other? jongin seems to open up more to kyungsoo, and kyungsoo doesn't get iffy around jongin either. you should know since i tend to spam you a lot with kaisoo shit in twitter lol. when i first got into exo, i thought that jongin was the harder one to read between the two of them but now that i've seen more stuff from them, it seems like kyungsoo's the one who has more walls built around him. ;~; jongin's just a jealous, possessive bitch in this story and wants to be around kyungsoo 24/7 and he feels like he's missing out a lot on kyungsoo's life with him doing AWESOME THINGS lol.
