I don't remember whether I ever told you this, but I once worked for the Santa Clara University Student Calling Center. Basically I called alumni of the school to ask them to donate money. I got a base salary and little bonuses for each donation, depending on the size of the donation. Anyway, once somebody had to call a "Mr. Buttram" and she got this incredulous look on her face and nearly busted out laughing when she asked if he was home.

Most of the time we'd just call graduates of the undergraduate school, but SCU also has graduate programs in law, business, and I forget what else. Lemme tell ya, the lawyers were a bunch of miserable, bitter robots.
