I'm hoping this is "to be continued," because there's something... off... about Eric.

The original concept was that "Scared Money" was Eric's alter ego and he'd actually kill Philip for Eric, but then I decided it might be too close to my "Closer" entry, so I tweaked it a bit for the prompt. I think in a longer piece, Eric would definitely be a bit more unhinged than I've hinted at here.

This is similar (but not that similar) to the origin story of persistent creepypasta Jeff the Killer that it probably just gets me scared regardless.

Hmmmm... now I'm wondering exactly what Eric is going to do to Miss Jenkins.

I didn't like the ending the way it was coming out so left it ambiguous. I had originally intended to make it explicit - Eric's mother lays a complaint against Miss Jenkins because she hugged him and ruins her career. We can't be having teachers showing physical affection, now, can we?
